Putin’s Friend Receives State Funding to Combat Corruption

Arkady Rotenberg, a childhood friend of Vladimir Putin, won a state contract last week to conduct anti-corruption training and civil-society development across the country. The Russian government awarded 46 million rubles (US$688,000) to Granat LLP to direct public discussions and conferences.
